❓ FAQ – MadeByEm3D 3D Printed Products & Orders

Answers to common questions about custom 3D printed gifts, PLA materials, shipping, returns, and more.

📄 Are your 3D printed designs licensed for commercial use?
Yes! All products sold by MadebyEm3D are fully licensed for commercial use. Unless otherwise noted (maze puzzles), every design is my original work, and all files are owned by MadebyEm3D.
🚚 How long does it take to receive my 3D printed order?
MadebyEm3D is a print-on-demand shop, which means all items are printed to order and inventory is not kept on hand. Production time for custom orders is typically 2–3 weeks, depending on current order volume. Tracking information will be emailed once your order has shipped.
🧃 Do you offer any custom prints?
All products (excluding the maze puzzles) are designed in-house and custom printed. If you’re looking for something that isn’t listed on the website, feel free to reach out through the contact page—I’d love to see if we can bring your 3D idea to life!
💰 What is your refund and return policy for 3D printed items?
In general, I do not accept returns for custom 3D prints unless the item arrives damaged or defective. Please reach out if there's an issue—I’ll make it right.
🌍 Do you ship MadeByEm3D products internationally?
Currently, I only ship within the continental United States. I'm working on expanding shipping options in the future—stay tuned!
🧵 What materials are your 3D prints made from?
Most MadeByEm3D items are made with PLA (Polylactic Acid), a strong, eco-friendly, biodegradable plastic made from renewable resources. PLA is great for indoor decor, cosplay, and gifts but should be kept out of high heat (like a hot car).
📸 My 3D printed item arrived damaged—what should I do?
I'm so sorry! Please email 3D@madebyemwithlove.com with a photo of the damage and your order number. I’ll quickly send a replacement or issue a refund.
🧸 Are MadeByEm3D products safe for kids or pets?
While PLA is a non-toxic and safe material, some designs may include small parts. Use discretion with children and pets, especially with decorative or detailed items.
